Technical Support Engineer - Windchill Runtime Administration
Location : AIX EN PROVENCE
Salary : 35/45 KE
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the support of the Windchill suite of products, you will provide our customers with a professional and friendly service through your understanding of their issues, your knowledge of Windchill solutions, and your understanding of our Technical Support processes.
You will be directly involved in the following activities:
* Resolving technical support questions and problems for products and customers’ custom applications
* Working with Engineering and Consulting staff to evaluate technical support problems and develop solutions
* Documenting and maintaining database of solutions to complex technical support issues for reuse
* Working directly with customers or other Windchill personnel to analyze and resolve customer issues
* Actively participating in training programs (internal and external) to gain knowledge of new products, custom applications, and core technologies
* In due course participating in the software development, documentation, and/or maintenance process.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Fluent English and at least one European language (French, German)
* Unix or Windows (2000/XP/2003) System administration knowledge
* Object programming and Java experience (UML, Java programs, servlets, jsps)
* Good Database knowledge (Oracle or SQLServer admin, SQL scripts)
* Proficient with Web Technologies (web server, TCP/IP protocols, html, xml, xsl)
* Natural-born troubleshooter
